More about our clients

Individuals attending workshops range widely in their backgrounds, interests, income level and experience. Some are novice gardeners, some are experienced or working in the field. About 30% of workshop goers have gardened for 5+ years and a similar number have no experience. Work trades and scholarships are offered for workshops to include as many people as possible.

Agency Clients
Garden Jane’s agency clients are typically in positions of social leadership, running programs in municipal, non-profit, educational and health settings. Garden Jane has gardened with and programmed for children, youth, parents and toddlers, seniors and communities. Our experience includes working with people / communities who are multicultural, ESL, multilingual, new Canadian, disabled and alter-abled, blind, deaf, ADHT, touched by cancer and living on the street.
